Alexandra Lakind is a Leading Edge Fellow with the American Council of Learned Societies. As a fellow, they support research at Caring Across Generations, a national non-profit seeking to advance care infrastructure in the United States. They have previously focused on topics related to carework as a Visiting Scholar in the Reproductive Sociology Research Group at the University of Cambridge and as a Network Fellow with the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Alexandra is also managing editor of a creative publication series about human and more-than-human relations and teaches queer theory at DePaul University in Chicago. They joined the Steering Committee in 2023 and are on the subcommittee focused on building connections between research, policy, and advocacy.
