Daniela Ugarte is a Ph.D. student in Sociology at the University of Toronto, specializing in migration, gender relations, families, care, and the Latin America region. Presently, she serves as a research assistant at the Center for Global Social Policy at the University of Toronto. From 2019 to 2021, Daniela held a Fulbright graduate fellowship at SUNY Albany, where she earned her master’s degree in Sociology. In 2023, she became a Research Assistant for the Carework Network.
