Anuneeta Chatterjee is a PhD student at the Department of Sociology, University of Calgary. Her research interests lie at the intersection of digital spaces, youth embodiments, global capitalism, critical phenomenology, and Southern theory. Her previous degrees have been in Sociology, Psychology, and English (Triple Major) from Christ University, Bangalore and a Masters in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Her current care work research focuses on how care is received by youth and how youth-of-color, especially in the margins of caste, class and gender (in the Indian context) develop relationships of deep care. She joined the Care Work Network Steering Committee in 2025 and is a member of the Communications committee.
